This trend has been seen coming towards summer as it provides an airy alternative to a jacket if styled appropriately. Fans of this look include Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk, Lori Harvey, Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid.
TWO: A perfect little black silk dress is a staple in anyone’s wardrobe. The majority of charity shops are awash with LBDs, so find staples like this that can live in your wardrobe for years.
Buying that LBD is the perfect way to combat buying fast fashion pieces. A LBD is also the perfect base for accessorising, creating an effortless outfit.
THREE: Following the Chanel runway show yesterday, there will no doubt be a return of the tweed skirt. Tweed skirts, more so tweed two-pieces, are making a comeback to runway and undoubtedly, we will see them on the high street.
There are usually many vintage tweed pieces in charity shops that can easily be altered to your taste. So if it doesn’t fit perfectly, break out the old needle and thread.
FOUR: Here’s a more seasonal take on the mini skirt, which is forecasted to be a 2022 summer staple. The nostalgic check is perfect for summer picnics, and the resurgence of the mini skirt by Mui Mui in their SS22 runway has created a new trend for this style.
