Ooh lah lah! Seven designers showed off their latest fashion creations during an hour-long catwalk as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Since 2016, Flying Solo, a curated fashion incubator, has been organising collective fashion shows that showcase talented independent designers.
Flying Solo Paris Fashion Week February 2023 presented a unique and inclusive selection of independent, ethical and unique brands and designers. The collection, which features not only clothing but also accessories, jewellery and shoes, makes a complete look thanks to the collaboration among designers.

Held in the former Parisian residence of the Spanish Royal Family, La Galerie Bourbon, the event featured the runway work of seven different designers.
Renee Cafaro Atelier broke down barriers as the only exclusively plus-size collection featured during the cat walk.
Cafaro’s ‘Velvet Goldmine’ collection, inspired by glam rock fashion icons such as David Bowie and the 1998 highly-acclaimed movie of the same name, featured rich hues, fine fabrics, feathers, glittering crystal embellishments and metal mesh.

Maisy Lily, 19, a PR Assistant said: “I have been to New York, Milan, London and now Paris Fashion Week and I have to say this is by far the best.” Her favourite designer was SAK, she said, as “I liked how inclusive they were both the designs and models they chose for the show.”
Other designers featured in the show were Nènna Atelier, with their ready-to-wear occasion dresses bringing the glitz and glamour, and Suzana Perico, who turned heads with scarlet red suits.
