Although our weekly routines are looking a whole lot different for the next few weeks or even months, doesn’t mean you still can’t be a fashionista from your sofa.
Here are some of the best fashion podcasts, outfits and books to delve into whilst you self-isolate.
Loungewear
Lounging around whilst you’re in self isolation? Get those PJs off and get into some ‘proper’ clothes. Go online and grab yourself some cute loungewear pieces and get them delivered straight to your door.

Fashion books

Get into a good book whilst you have a pamper session in the bath or sunbathe in your garden. From fashion designers to the successes behind Vogue, here are a few books that may get you by:
Gods and Kings: The rise and fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano by Dana Thomas. They were the fashion designers of their time, so relax and explore the global success of the two industry icons.
Inside Vogue: My diary of Vogues 100th year by Alexandra Shulman. After stepping down from Vogue in 2018, Shulman reveals all from the celebrities that she worked with to that 100th anniversary issue.
Grace: A memoir by Grace Coddington. The documentary, The September Issue shows you the day-to-day running’s of Vogue US. One of the top stylists behind it was Grace Coddington, who worked closely with Anna Wintour and shot some of their most amazing photoshoots. In this tell-all book she reveals what life was really like as one of the stylists.

Although Netflix has taken over, click that subscribe button for some of the UK’s best known youtubers. They have worked their way up the ladder from creating their own makeup lines and jewellery brands, coming out with autobiographies and working with some of the industry’s best.
Patricia Bright offers everything from lifestyle, fashion and she even talks money from how she became a millionaire from YouTube to what you should invest your money in. With over 2.88 million subscribers, this is not to be missed – if you want some light-hearted laughs then Bright’s the one.
Lydia Millen has one of the best designer wardrobes that any girl would dream of. Here she shows her 830k subscribers her best and worst luxury purchases, her newly built house and the fashion trends we should all follow.
Amelia Liana is another one of the YouTube OG’s, she shows real life stuff from breakups to holidays to her designer outlet purchases.
Samantha Maria is a jewellery maker and the lady behind the YouTube channel which was previously known as The Beauty Crush. With 1.79 million subscribers head to her channel for the latest from the high street with purchases from Topshop and Zara to vlogs and the best beauty products to buy.
