A young woman’s love for skincare and skincare routines meant that launching her own beauty company was bound to happen one day.
Bringing her love for travel, food and self-care to all things skin, brand owner Hazel Eddleston-Lee, 27, says that she wanted to bring a community of people together to share her passion.
Best of all, she is now jumping on the vegan bandwagon, to offer products that are ethically sourced, vegan and completely organic. “This is not only for the environment, but it’s also better for our skin to have all-natural products,” says Hazel, whose brand, The Wanderlust Women Ltd, just took off.
“After making products for over a year now as a hobby, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to go legit with my brand, instead of just selling products to my friends,” she says.
“There are no chemicals in my products, and as all skin is sensitive we don’t technically need to put harmful chemicals on our skin to keep it protected and healthy.”
Just last week, Hazel qualified as a skin therapist and now has a studio based at her home in Shoreditch, where she will be offering treatments and facials to her clients.
With the completion of her diploma and her range of products launch underway, Hazel now offers a variety of skin care treatments, including consultations, professional steams, clay mask facials and face, neck and back massages. Treatments are currently only £20 for a limited introductory offer.
The new “vegan trend” has had massive success in the beauty industry lately. According to Cosmetics Business, it’s no longer just about what we put onto our bodies but also what we are putting into our bodies.
With a growing popularity of the brand, skincare lovers can purchase Hazel’s products online or if you are lucky enough, catch her at various pop up’s and trade shows.
“Being able to do something I am passionate about and networking with like-minded women is what I love most about having my skincare brand,” she says.
The Wanderlust Women offers an all-natural and unique range of vegan and ethically sourced skincare products at a very affordable price, of course. If you fancy aromatherapy candles to unwind or homemade soap bars or body butter, The Wanderlust Women has got you covered.
You can purchase products and book treatments from the website www.thewanderlustwomen.com.
