As the weather gets warmer, the parks in Islington get more visitors. Islington is a beautiful city filled with green fields spread across the urban landscape. It’s finally May, so here is a list of Islington’s most popular parks.
Barnard Park
This park has a football pitch, a playground for the kids, and a meadow.

Here you can find a children’s play area, a garden and several sports facilities including outdoor gym equipment.

Caledonian Park
For a more historic setting head over to Caledonian Park which has a Grade II listed clock tower which has a view of North London. This park also has children’s play area, and community gardens.

Highbury Fields
As the biggest park in Islington, this one is hard to miss. Highbury Fields has a huge playground, a Boer War memorial, a Café, a pool and fitness centre and barbecues perfect for a sunny day.

Dartmouth Park
This park is a little smaller but it comes with an amazing view. Located in between Archway and Tufnell Park (N19) you can find a view of London from the Emirates Stadium to Saint Paul’s Cathedral.

Paradise Park
Paradise Park is a great place to bring your children have you can find a playground, table tennis, a farm, chess tables, and a Children’s Centre all in one place. It’s a great place to celebrate birthday parties during Spring and Summer.

Spa Fields
If you live close to Angel, this might be the park for you. Spa Fields include many sports facilities, a playground and a Lavender garden.

Whittington Park
Whittington Park is the perfect place if you love nature and wildlife. It has a pond and ecology garden, woodland, and a natural play area for the kids. It also has a war memorial for the parents to check out.
