Wake-up call in Court

A young man supporting his mum and brother has pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court. Patrick Malack, 22, of Park Road, Enfield was fined £200 at the hearing on Tuesday 9 May. He was also given a four week suspended prison sentence.

The police stopped and searched Malack near his home in Enfield.

The court heard that this was a reoccurring offence and he was already on a community order. He had 120 hours to complete, with 86 outstanding. He was attending his probation appointments and engaging in the service. He is currently supporting his mum and his little brother financially.

The Chairman told Malack “You need a wake-up call and you need to grow up”
