Summertime is almost here! Days last longer and it is getting warmer every day in the UK. Life is expected to go back to normal by June 21st, but is your wardrobe ready for this summer?
A useful guide to these S2021 trends that will leave everyone staring at you! So what is a MUST for your summer 2021 wardrobe?
3. ETHEREAL FLOWER PRINTS
FLORAL, FLORAL, FLORAL! It just shouts out SUMMERTIME! It is timeless; it is feminine; it is just right for that holiday vibe. Imagine: you are at a Greek island. You just got back from a nice time at the beach and you are on your way to the nearest town for some evening cocktails with your besties at a beach bar. Let me just tell you..an ethereal floral dress, high (but island-approved) heels, beach waves, highlighter and red lipstick. No wonder you will pull all the hotties in the bar!

Why floral?
When you think of a flower, what is the first thing that pops into your mind? Nice odour, holidays, spring/summer, good times – good vibes. Floral prints have been in trend for decades. They have appeared at numerous catwalks over the years, from Fendi and Versace to Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. A bit of floral just adds that little something to your spring/summer wardrobe.
What kind of floral?
The thing with flowers is that they look good in any form, any shape and any type of clothing. Floral dresses, tops, bottoms, skirts, bikinis, jumpsuits, co-ordinated sets. They just look good! Pink, blue and white are just some of the most worn colours when it comes to floral. Cute, feminine and yet sexy. Spot on!
Perfect match
A floral print could be styled in many different ways. Due to its colourful ambiance, the accessories that go well with it – along with bags and shoes – would be a kind of monochrome to tone the outfit down a little bit and maintain a balance between the colours. However, many are brave enough to pair a whole-floral-outfit that catches everyone’s attention. Go on then, don’t be afraid! Experiment with your floral look!

Where to wear it?
Easy. Floral prints can be worn anywhere, anytime! Going for breakfast on a sunny day with your family? Done. Going on a shopping spree with your friends? Cool. Grabbing lunch with your co-workers? Absolutely. Enjoying a nice cup of coffee at a coffee shop? Yup. Fancy dinner with your significant other? Go for it, mate!
Where to find it?
All fashion brands have at least one piece of floral clothing in their spring/summer collection – from a very affordable brand to a high end one. Depending on your personal brand or quality preferences and your personal fashion style, you could find some interesting pieces almost everywhere. All-time favourites? H&M, River Island, New Look and (of course) Primark! Got to be stylish on a budget, you know..
Make up the makeup
It is up to you to create a makeup look that would be in harmony with your colourful floral outfit. Two things are very important, though – highlighter and red lipstick!
Go on and show off your summer floral looks!
2. SORBET PASTEL SHADES
Pastel tones! Yes, this trend has been around for years, but this summer it has overridden all colour-related stereotypes. It has taken over dark tones and is here to make a splash on a summer’s day! Embrace the look.

Why does it work?
Simple – because it is unique, very feminine and comes in harmony with the summer holiday vibes. This look has appeared on high end catwalks, including Victoria Beckham and Valentino, and has also been worn by superstars at the red carpet over the years. Spice things up a bit and work around with your sorbet-pastel clothing items in your wardrobe.
Colour play-off
Wearing a head-to-toe colour can be monotonous at times. So why not play around with colours to make your outfit stand out from the crowd? Combine bright-coloured accessories with your pastel outfits and take this look onto another level. Pink, green, yellow, black – any colour really!
Pair it with
Your bag, shoes and accessories should not fight with your outfit. Pick items that go well with each other, but also break up the monotonous colours. Stick with two colours that create just the right level of contrast you need. High heels or sandals paired with the same colour bag would be amazing with this look, and add that little spicy touch. A natural-looking makeup look would go great with it as well.

Show off your summer curves
Don’t forget, this is a summer trend, so style it accordingly! Show some skin. Having flashpoints of skin is just another trick to break up the colour wall. A leg showing off, a touch of décolleté or even a generous crop top will all add a visual break of a head-to-toe coloured outfit. Time for those long gym sessions to pay off!
Where to?
Anywhere really, depending on the style of the outfit. For example, a silky set could be worn on a night out with a pair of heels, when a casual dress could be worn at the beach as a cover up with your cute flip-flops. You pick the style, you pick the place to rock it!
Where to find it
Gucci, Fendi, New Look, Versace, River Island.. And so on. Yet another look that is so unique and yet so common. So easy to style, but yet so rare to see someone actually embracing it. So go on and show them what you got!
- BLACK FACE MASKS
Even though our tough lives are slowly going back to normal, you still need to protect yourself and others. How about doing it in style?

Why black?
Blue surgical face masks can sometimes create a contrast that you don’t need in your outfit. Black masks go well with almost everything and they are looked at as a statement piece of clothing. Wear one if you dare..
What about the material?
Of course, being safe and protected is more important than being fashionable. Only choose face masks that are approved by government guidelines and slay in them in style!
Match it
Black face masks can be paired with literary everything, from a loud-patterned outfit to a sorbet pastel colour-based look. It adds that little “oh wow” touch into your outfit AND keeps you safe at the same time!

And make up?
One great thing about face masks is that no full face of makeup will be needed. Since the mask covers half of your face, focusing on toning your eyes is what you should do. Eye shadow or eyeliner and mascara will be enough. Ready to go in minutes!
Where to wear it
Everywhere, anytime. Masks are mandatory so you will need to wear them at all times when being around others. BUT… with your black face mask and your cute little outfit you will be noticed for sure!
Where to find it
Literally anywhere. From high-end fashion brands to pound shops in the high street. Balenciaga, AllSaints, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Primark, Claire’s, New Look, even Poundland! Choose one that you like the most and make it happen!
