If you ever wander the streets of Holloway and don’t know where to grab a pint, this listicle is exactly for you.
Holloway is a student area and is full of different cafes, restaurants and pubs. It can be quite overwhelming to decide where exactly to relax and have a drink or some food.
1. The Coronet

The Coronet used to be a cinema back in the day. Now it is a big Wetherspoons pub which is located at The Resource Centre, 338-346 Holloway Rd, London N7 6PA. The pub is open for breakfast until 12p.m. and offers free Lavazza coffee and tea refills all day every day.
For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. The pub offers free Wi-Fi and it has step-free access.

2. Big Red

An absolute staple of Holloway comes in the form of the Big Red. Known everywhere for being the last pub open, the Big Red is a treasure trove of cheap beer, pool tables and rock ‘n’ rock music that’ll have you dancing the night away! Tuesday is karaoke night, so I expect to see you there!

3. The Owl and Hitchhiker

The Owl and Hitchhiker is one for the lads, with vintage retro games and table tennis, you simply cannot miss it.

Inspired by the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and The Owl and the Pussy Cat, the décor is weird and wacky. They have become well known for their pub quizzes as well as live music and comedy nights!

4. The Hercules

The Hercules combines the comfort of the traditional English old man pub with the Jazz style of the 60s.

It’s warmly lit to give you that lovely home away from home feeling. It offers all your favourite pub grub classics and is a great place to take mum for a Sunday Roast!

5. The Swimmer

The Swimmer is your perfect behind the scenes local boozer. Just off Holloway Road Highstreet, they sport a gorgeous beer garden out front with beautiful little fairy light. An excellent date spot!
