The UK will host this year’s Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine, which is still severely disrupted by the war against Russia.

According to the BBC, the tickets for the popular song contest sold out in 90 minutes, as there was huge public demand for them.

A poll conducted by Holloway Express shows that 70% of the people who live in Holloway believe that England will win this year’s competition. Meanwhile, 10% of them think Ukraine will take the prize home again, 10% bet on Moldova, and 10% on Sweden.

‘The UK really supports Ukraine in this situation

The residents of Holloway believe that owing to the unfortunate circumstances that are currently going on in Ukraine, it is the safest to hold the contest in the Liverpool Arena.

“For security reasons, I think Liverpool is the best option,” said 21-year-old student Kady Bangura.

Student Cairo Bakare, 22, said that it’s a shame that the competition cannot be held in Ukraine because of the conflict, but it is for the best.

‘I am sure that they will still be able to make it as successful as it usually is,” he says.

“I believe, based on the circumstances and issues that were happening in the capital city of Ukraine, it was not possible and safe for people to hold Eurovision,” says 24-year-old SCP, Sasha Caro.
