Through the lenses of BA Photojournalism students, London Metropolitan University
In light of everything going on in Ukraine at the moment, as a photojournalist, it’s hard to fight the urge to go there and do what you do best. However, if you’re still a student, it’s difficult to find the means to get there, and make the decision to freeze or discontinue your studies. Regardless, Photojournalism students at London Metropolitan caught some of the action on camera, wherever they were.

“I went to Germany for a weekend trip 2 days after the start of war in Ukraine. I had mixed feelings and couldn’t entirely enjoy visiting places and friends without thinking of what was going on on the other side of Europe. When we got to Koln, there was a protest going on and I just couldn’t help it but point the lens away from the touristy things.”
