Dermot Williams was charged with the intent to sell. After being taken back to Tottenham Police Station, he was required to take a drugs test which showed he had traces of cocaine in his body.
Because of the way he was behaving, which was described as ‘dazed’, he was informed to return back to the station to take further assessments. He did not attend these further tests however.
The 51 years old has a history of using and selling drugs, 5 years being his longest serving term.
Williams, who is currently homeless and waiting for council accommodation, has not had a fixed address for the past 15 years. An ESA application is currently in process, as well as receiving Job Seeker’s Allowance. His drug abuse and past convictions have not helped his case.

The defendant pleaded guilty and the Job Centre are satisfied with his attendance for his allowance. This has allowed room for some discounts on his sentence and he was discharged.
This comes with the conditions that he stays out of trouble for the next six mounts and to pay a fine of £20.
