Our BA Journalism Newsweeks are a chance to get creative, and the Audio group certainly achieved that during Fashion Newsweek.
The Audio group was divided into three podcast teams, with each team using interviews from the Newsweek conference guests as the framework for their product.
Conscious Choices, featured here, was led by Editor Seham Al Amshan. The podcast was a ‘double-header’ presented by Aliyah Rahma and Daniella Dogbe. Daniella was also a reporter doing one-to-ones interviews of conference guests alongside fellow-first year Maria Lucchetti. Third year Neo Lekhela was script writer and edited interviews, and the Tech Op was Third Year Paula Fischer-Fodor.
Podcast Editor Seham said: “Our podcast is about making conscious choices in fashion and how to avoid over-consumption. It was hard work pulling the script and audio together, but we were very happy indeed with the sound, content and energy of the podcast. “
