Winter is a season filled with unique experiences and delightful moments. The joy of bundling up in warm layers, the thrill of building a snowman, and the excitement of having a snowball fight all contribute to that feeling of winter joy.
According to the Met Office, snow is expected to fall in several regions of the UK before Christmas, so many of us can expect to enjoy the beauty of winter landscapes and the cosy atmosphere of holiday gatherings while having a cup of hot coffee, tea, or whatever takes your fancy.
Here is what the locals around Holloway Road say about their favourite coffee places…
Jenki in Spitalfields Market, according to East London worker Julia Montague, 24, is “a green tea heaven.”
Despite Julia’s locality in Holloway, she makes the long commute to Spitalfields for her pre-work drink, which makes Jenki a regular destination for her. She furthermore stated that she gets out of bed way too early to start her day with a glass of her favourite drink, which she refers to as her “life happiness.”

The people of Holloway are excited to spend this winter enjoying a croissant in one hand and coffee in the other. And while it may sound a bit odd, McDonald’s coffee is one of the most marketable products during the winter months.
A good old “McCafe” is one of the most well-known coffees in the UK. Since coffee is the main component of breakfast, the fast food chain says it experiences a significant drop in sales when it is not available.
A McDonald’s business manager, Arif Chowdhry, who has been working at McDonald’s for more than six years, said that the “Toffee Latte” is one of the most well-known and most loved McCafes.
The majority of London Metropolitan University students claimed to be addicted to coffee, feeling as though something is missing until they have their morning fix.
They named a McCafe as one of their favourite coffee brands, believing it to be value for money.
Neethu Jose, a 28-year-old London Met student, said, “Even though I shouldn’t spend £2 on coffee every morning, I won’t be able to function without it,” describing it as an example of “love.”
