4 eyeshadow palettes to try this summer

Find the palette perfect for your look this summer between the new entry of this year.

By Francesco Fiori

Urban Decay Naked Wild West

The palette presents itself with 12 ranges of colours for a natural and naked look. There are eight mattes and four shimmer colours, and the packaging includes a duo brush.

Divided into two parts, the first is a light brown (two shades), followed by a pale pink, with gold and silver accents for the shimmers. In the middle are primary colours that obtain the best shade ever with any other colour of the palette: a dark brown matte followed by light green and bronzer shimmer. The last matte colours are Indian red, dark brown, dark green and grey.

This is a lovely palette to create incredible smoky eyes and a sober, natural, bright-eyed look. In the palette, you’ll find Standoff, Spur and Nude as transition colours (matte); and Hold ‘em and Cowboy Rick (shimmer) which, used with the first three, can be used to create a nude and sober look.

Laredo is the middle colour that plays the role of a background paint that won’t leave a sign behind in any look. It’s nice to blend to get perfect shades with anything you create. Bud and Rustler (shimmer) provide a perfect touch of light in your smoky eyes, and is easy to blend with the following four colours: Ghost Town, Whiskey, Tex and Pony up (matte).

This palette signed Makeup Obsession, under the brand by Makeup Revolution, launched in Shop re021. The packaging is simple, with owls pictured on the top. The same owls are found in a couple of pods inside.

Nice colours are included, including eleven matte colours and five shimmers.

On the top line, we find a range of natural colours, such as different shades of brown, pink and peach, named Honesty, Power, Empathy, Sensitivity, Beauty and Passion.

In the second line, there are beautiful shimmer colours like gold, bronzer, red-violet and violet. They have expressive names: Sparkle, Madness, Courage and Imagination.

In the last line, we find colours that want to be visible and colourful and give our eyes a serenity touch. There are five matte colours: rose gold, red pink, Magenta, Orchid, and light Coral named Allure, Charm, Love, Delight and Kindness. To finish off there is a pink shimmer called Heart for a nice bright touch.

To give more spice to summer 2021, you can now create the perfect red palette for lovers. This highly pigmented, silky and smooth formula smells of cinnamon. It’s a simple palette, with funny and straightforward packaging. Red is the dominant colour of the palette, represented by matchsticks and a corresponding sexy matchstick lady on fire.

This is a feminine palette that gives the impression of sexy looks and inspires good nights out.  The palette inside presents eight colours, six mattes and two shimmers. A transition peach colour is inside along with five matte colours, which can create a glorious look when mixed together. A yellow red and rose gold shimmer can add a nice and spicy bright touch. A curious fact about this palette is that the co-founder got inspired by a spicy-hot snack

This precious palette is a perfect combo for natural to crazy looks for the summer.

There are twenty eyeshadows: seventeen are matte, and three are shimmer.

This particular palette that is at the bottom has ten extra small pods of products on the side; if you wet the brush, you can use them as an eyeliner.

Some of the pods are artistic and look nice. The idea to put the name of the palette’s creator on the pods is genius; in the third line, it says, “Avani… simple, brand, and gorgeous.”

In the first line, we have the colours Inaudible Noise, Clown, U Mad??, Beep Boop and Lmao. They are all playful and bright: Lmao is a pinkish shimmer colour that is great to wear with the others of the line while giving a touch of elegance and brightness at the same time.

The Second Line is more decisive and impactful, having colours pods LilPapivoni, 2016, Anúlele, Chunkin’ Coffee and Diet. The last two are good colours for great smoky eyes.

The third line has more playful names, such as My Fav, Madi doesn’t Like, I Cry, Anthony and Fishy, followed by the last line with names such as Hidden, Bruh, Star Emoji, Mama’s Fav and SeaWeed. The dominant colour is the sparkling Star Emoji, a silver colour ready to light up these smoky eyes.

Ten extra colours are also available, and as mentioned, just wet the brush B4 (eyeliner) and use them for a passionate and stylish eyeliner. This section includes white (Jack & Benny), black (Pri-Pri), navy (L-dawg), purple (Gretals), fire red (Gymnast Mems), light pink (ShatiG), light blue (Da Beb), light green (Lydster), orange (You) and magenta (Sonia).

These are the palettes that deserve to be in your beauty case this summer, for looks that are fresh, warm, and elegant to start the season. Which palette do you prefer? Urban Decay, Makeup obsession, Too Faced or Morphe x Avani?
