The Grammy Awards are one of the biggest in the music industry. Every year the Recording Academy chooses and awards the most deserving musicians. Awards are handed during a special ceremony where nominated artists perform their biggest hits.

The presentation ceremony is always a huge event. This year, however, due to the global pandemic, a few changes had to be made.
“The significant difference this year was the fact that the event took place online,” said Nina Pachnowska, 15, a student of the music school in Wrocław, Poland. “Also the number of invited people was different because it was limited due to the pandemic.”
This year, instead of a big, crowded hall, musicians gathered in a small, cosy room. Everyone had to keep adequate distance and wear a mask. Luckily, safety restrictions didn’t stop the artists from presenting unique, stunning looks.
“Artists handled the situation really well, matching masks to their outfits,” said Pachnowska.
Taylor Swift, the third-time Album of the Year winner, matched her colourful, flowery Oscar de la Renta dress with as colourful and flowery a mask. She completed her look with pastel pink heels by Christian Louboutin.
She is the first woman who won Album of the Year three times.

Harry Styles, this year Best Pop Solo Performance winner, decided to throw away modesty and performed in a black leather Gucci suit. Instead of a shirt, he wore a green boa scarf. Later, while receiving the award he wore a checked yellowish jacket which matched perfectly with his face mask.

According to Twitter, the worst outfit was presented by Noah Cyrus who was nominated for Best New Artist award. She showed up wearing a white Schiaparelli Couture Gown.
She had a simple white mask which matched with her outfit but didn’t safe her from snarky comments. People quickly started comparing her to ‘bed sheet’, ‘crumpled up tissue’ or ‘a piece of popcorn’.
For the majority of people watching the Grammys at home, it didn’t matter whether the event was held remotely or in person. Viewers were just a snarky as they would have been had the stars shown up in person.
