Lara Bothe is a tour manager, a PR rep and artist liaison coordinator, who has been working for the last five years with some of the world’s biggest superstars, including Taylor Swift.
Graduating with a first class BA in music management, she has studied in both German and UK universities, she is currently tour manager for Live Nation.
Her experience includes events such as the Baftas and the Brit Awards, and she has worked on MTV World Stage and with the Abba Voyage virtual concert residency.
Lara is also involved with festivals including Rock N Ribs, Legends of Rock, SlayStation, and Master Ball. Various artists she has worked with as well as Taylor Swift include Post Malone, Asha Banks, and the German heavy/power metal band Chinchilla. Her work has taken her all over the world to places such Hungary and Germany.
“I work at pubs and bars, stadiums, festivals, big fields that have nothing in them and local bars that have a stage inside,” she told a Newsweek panel at London Metropolitan University recently that investigated whether London nightlife is dying.

Is nightlife dying?
Other panellists included Michael Kill, CEO of the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA); MDZA, a drum & bass DJ; Rhoda Dakar, musician and lead singer of The Bodysnatchers, and Tom Nutt, deputy manager of The Garage in Islington.
“Some of my favourite artists I have worked with were Ice Nine Kills and the vengaboys. I also worked on the Taylor Swift eras tour in the London part of the UK tour.“
Among other things, Bothe said that reduced night tube services post pandemic are causing people to leave shows early to catch the last trains.
She mentioned how it is a safety issue too, for women that are leaving events alone, saying that she often needs to take an Uber when she works late as otherwise she would have to walk alone in a deserted area to catch a train.
