There are one billion monthly active users on TikTok.
Beside funny short videos and challenges, people have now started sharing their favourite beauty products and it seems to work very well. Even professional dermatologists have jumped on the TikTok trend and are now sharing their secrets for good skin.
This app dictates trends, and any product that becomes viral on TikTok is sold out in stores.
Scrolling through TikTok beauty videos, we have selected five of the most recommended beauty products on the app:
1. The most viral beauty products on TikTok are The Ordinary solutions. More precisely, The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. This product became a sensation thanks to the TikToker Kaelyn White, who showed how much the solution helped her with acne scars.

The solution is super affordable (£6.30) and it is vegan, just like the whole brand.
2. Another TikTok beauty trend is the L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Freshwear Face Powder. This drugstore product seems to work as a full coverage foundation and works on any skin type. The powder became a sensation after the TikTok user @rocio.roses first applied the powder and the result was incredible.

This powder costs only £12.99. The only problem with this powder is the lack of inclusivity. In fact, it has only six shades, from ivory to rose sand.
3. The British brand Pixi became a skincare obsession on TikTok. The Pixi Glow Tonic is a liquid exfoliator for brighter, clearer and smoother skin. It is perfect for people with sensitive skin as one of the main ingredients is aloe vera that helps calm the skin.

For 100ml you pay only £10. Pixi is also a cruelty free brand.
4. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is another big success on TikTok and it is approved even by dermatologists. Removing makeup, clearing acne scars and keeping the skin smooth are just some of the miracles this product can do. Thanks to the big success on TikTok, the 16-year-old brand became a sensation on social media. They now came out with a different cleanser for any skin type and concern.

For 236 ml you pay only £9.50. It is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.
5. Have you ever wanted bigger lips? TikTok has a solution for you: Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Gloss. The # 1 gloss in the USA is a sensation on social media right now for plumping the lips. Inspired by medically proven blood vessel dilating technology, it helps achieve fuller lips from the first use.

It comes in five different shades and costs £22.
Tik Tok plays an important role in beauty marketing sales. More brands are now promoting their products on the platform.
One of the main reasons for the success? Instead of being big influencers, often lots of TikTok users are ordinary people who try to give an honest review the products.
